Ergh, sorry about the quality, folks. I've been messing with different ways of cleaning the lines out of stuff, and so far, it hasn't been working so well. It might have something to do with the notebook's lines, too, but yeah.

So this is Aeo as a kid. Scruffy, scrawny, dirty little thing, huh?

I'm revamping her past so that she's more of a little savage kid. She has a habit of eating things raw and really enjoys innards. It's a habit she's going to carry even into adulthood. 8D Yay for grossing people out.

Aeo: *catches a rabbit and tears open guts* *omnomnom*

But yeah, she's called the Rat Child because of her size and thieving nature, and was considered something of a bogeyman ["Eat your dinner or the Rat Child will take it away;" that sort of thing] and is really hated by mothers. In turn, she hates just about everybody there is, so it's all mutual. XD

Aeo runs around with a sling and a broken knife, which you can see her wrapping up here after killing something [and possibly stuffing its insides in her face]. She doesn't really need to sling for small animals; she can chase down most small game by foot. Yes, she's that fast.

When there's nothing to eat, she'll leave the cooked food to her mother and go stuff herself on anything else she can find - namely grass. Lots of grass. Or chew on leather. It doesn't really matter what it is as long as it's halfway edible; she'll eat bugs, too, if she feels like catching 'em. Grasshoppers are a favorite. Aeo's not very picky about food, and since she eats a lot of random things, she's developed a high tolerance for plants and animals that'd otherwise make normal people sick. Of course, she probably made herself sick loads of times, but hunger does funny things to a person.

Aeo: *noms a toadstool*

Aeo: Mushroom? *holds one up*
Eris: ...those are poisonous.
Aeo: ._.; Really? Taste pretty good to me.
Eris: *facepalm*

She's a really tough little kid. For those that don't know, Scyrians age faster than normal people - almost twice as fast - so Aeo at age 5 is around 9 or so for us. She has a naturally low body temperature - very suitable for the Ardorian Moor climate, especially considering how little she actually wears. She has an oversized smock and part of a cape. The thing around her head is just something carried over. Iono, Aeo needs her headbands to keep the hair outta her eyes. Or something. XD Most of her is covered in cloth-scrap bandages.

I'm also implementing a rule for the Hiruthei; clan members are forbidden to become Hiruthei if the council judges them to be a potential threat to the clan. Since Hiruthei are highly-regarded, highly-skilled warriors that are basically the basis of the clan lifestyle, it's a really, really big deal. Aeo's obviously not qualified: she has violent tendencies, hates people, and honestly stated that she'd get back at people if she were taught to fight. Not that she really needs it. She can take apart a wolf by herself. d:

...but I think I'm getting a little too specific. I had way too much fun envisioning this grubby little kid stuffing a liver in her face. And then having Aeo freak out Halo the first time they had rabbit together. XD And then having Aeo eat her rabbit mostly raw. Or just most things raw. Iono. I guess I'm just weird. And craving food. >>; I'm really hungry.
